Aims and Scope

The Asian Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ACAM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing the understanding and practice of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) with a special focus on Asia's rich and diverse healing traditions. ACAM aims to provide a platform for high-quality, evidence-based research, clinical studies, reviews, and case reports that explore traditional systems of medicine such as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, Kampo, and other regional therapies, as well as modern integrative approaches.

The journal welcomes contributions that promote the scientific validation, safety, efficacy, and integration of CAM with conventional medical systems. It seeks to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and dialogue between researchers, healthcare practitioners, and policy-makers, encouraging a holistic view of health and healing.

Scope includes but is not limited to:
